Jean Thomson Harris was the wife of Paul Harris, the founder of Rotary International. She was born in Massachusetts in 1906 and was a graduate of Smith College. She married Paul Harris in 1945 when he was 67 and she was 39 years old.

Jean Thomson Harris was known for her philanthropic work and her support of her husband's efforts to establish Rotary International as a global organization. She was actively involved in Rotary and served as an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Chicago. She was also a member of the board of the Paul and Jean Harris Home Foundation, which provides housing for senior citizens.

Jean Thomson Harris passed away in 1998 at the age of 91. She is remembered as a dedicated philanthropist and supporter of Rotary International.
