Jack Davis – Rotary International President 1977-78, “Serve to Unite Mankind”
Jack Davis of Hamilton, Bermuda, Rotary’s President elect for 1977–78, was a director of The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son, Ltd, and retired senior partner in the firm of Pearman, Watlington & Company, which operates retail stores, automobile distribution and a Hamilton engineering firm. Born in Canada, he was educated there and in the United States. He is chairman of the Advisory Architectural Panel of the Bermuda, a founder trustee of The Willowbank Foundation and The Heydon Foundation, and a founding member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board in Bermuda.
A Hamilton Rotarian since 1943, Jack was a past president. He served RI as governor of the District, 723, Rotary information and extension counsellor, committee, chairman, and member, director, third vice president, and member of the consultative group to RI for the USCB region .
